The Architect

Jim Engh’s pure passion for golf design and commitment to working on each routing, from hand-drawing the holes to overseeing the construction, made him a natural choice for Awarii Dunes. He has this to say about the course:

“The rolling character of the land reminds me in many ways of some of the softer Irish links courses; it is the gentle and quirky rolls and falls of the native landforms that most inspire me with this project. Very little, if any, excavation will occur over the entire project. In fact, there will be no disturbance to the existing grasses and vegetation.”

Jim’s goal is to create a course that will challenge and delight Members so they enjoy each round and will continue talking about their experience in the 19th hole as they look forward to their next round.
